Intern week is here, and at Alpine Supply Chain Solutions, this means it’s time once again to mentor the future leaders of the supply chain industry. We’re excited to welcome four new summer interns: Musa Abusubiah, Tyler Meier, Matthew Haubry, and Eric Lee, as well as an apprentice, Austin Ward. Alpine’s mentor program is designed to give college students and recent graduates practical experience in supply chain management.

During their time at Alpine, Musa, Tyler, Matthew, Eric, and Austin will interact with each other, learn from our leadership team, and work with our growing client base. The supply chain industry continually seeks innovative problem-solving approaches, and we believe these interns will offer us as much insight as we provide them.

Here’s a little more about our 2024 interns:

Musa Abusubiah
Musa Abusubiah is a recent graduate of Northern Illinois University where he studied Industrial Engineering with a minor in Mechanical Engineering. His senior design project was with Freudenberg Household Products (FHP) where his role was to reduce scrap and enhance documentation. Musa has also worked in sales for nine years in different stores and dealerships. In his free time, his hobbies include wood carving and photography.

Tyler Meier
Tyler Meier is majoring in Economics at Michigan State University and is expected to graduate in April of 2025. In the past, he has had prior experience working as a Supply Chain Solutions intern at Silver Beach County Park. In his free time, he can be found going for a run outside or playing basketball with his friends.

Matthew Haubry
Matthew Haubry is currently a junior at Purdue University studying Industrial Engineering with a minor in Management. He is expected to graduate in May of 2025. The past two summers, Matthew has interned at an injection molding company as an engineering intern. In his free time he enjoys playing soccer, hiking, mountain biking, and building Legos.

Eric Lee
Eric Lee is a Junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he is studying Supply Chain Management. He is expected to graduate in the spring of 2025. After his freshman year of college, he was a part of the testing involved in a developing Walmart Distribution Center. Last summer Eric was the Director of Recruitment for his Fraternity where he got to implement his own system of creating opportunities to meet new members through events. He is looking forward to developing his skills and knowledge within the supply chain industry through this internship. In his free time Eric enjoys watching sports with friends and staying active.

Austin Ward
Austin Ward is our apprentice this summer, meaning that he just graduated from high school! Austin recently graduated from Hinsdale Central High School and this upcoming fall he will be a freshman attending Auburn University majoring in Finance / Supply Chain. He wants to learn more about the supply chain industry and is looking forward to going on site visits and diving further into the supply chain ins and outs. In his free time, Austin enjoys being outdoors, spending time with his family, playing pickleball, soccer, baseball, and golf.
