We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s winners of the “Pat Gallagher Scholarship”.  The 2022 recipients of this honor are two promising individuals at Michigan State University, Nevil Thomas and Ashley Yearwood. They will each receive $2,500 to help them pay for whatever scholastic needs they may have: tuition, textbooks, or any equipment that supports their studies.

The Pat Gallagher Scholarship was created by Alpine Supply Chain Solutions as a tribute to Pat, a founding member of Alpine Supply Chain Solutions. Pat was a 25-year supply chain engineering veteran who designed, built, and sustained distribution center networks for many Fortune 500 companies. The recipient of a Pat Gallagher Scholarship is an individual who demonstrates hard work and determination and an interest in the supply chain industry.

Ashley Yearwood is a third-year Supply Chain Management and Information Technology student at Michigan State University’s Honors College. She is an active member MSU’s Supply Chain Management Association, currently serving on the Executive Board as the Director of Public Relations. Her work with the organization introduced her to the field of consulting which led to an upcoming summer role at Accenture as a Consulting Development Analyst.

Nevil Thomas is also a third-year student at Michigan State University studying Supply Chain Management. He serves at the Career Fair Director for the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) at MSU and an Undergraduate Learning Assistant for the ITM 209 course. This course is a sophomore-level course that teaches students about business analytics.

We look forward to watching both Ashley and Nevil grow as supply chain professionals. We know the sky is the limit when it comes to these two!
