Join our team! Alpine Supply Chain is a family-owned business which has quickly grown to 40 staff throughout the US. This position is part of our three-person Sales and Marketing team which reports to the National Sales Director. The position is fully remote with your work schedule flexible during normal business hours Monday – Friday. We provide a combination of base earnings and commission.

Job Description:

Lead complex warehouse and distribution center projects from initial
assessment through decision, planning, simulation and execution support. Work directly
with client leadership teams to deliver actionable, high-impact warehouse solutions,
managing both technical and operational aspects of every engagement.

  • Lead warehouse consulting projects, including best practice assessments, store type analysis, facility layout/design, slotting studies, move planning, and operational simulations 
  • Conduct operational assessments to benchmark client facilities against industry standards and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop facility designs and layout plans that maximize operational efficiency, throughput and space utilization
  • Create and manage project plans including scope, timelines, resource needs, and budgets
  • Lead client workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather data, present findings, and drive decision-making
  • Manage simulations and modeling activities to validate proposed solutions
  • Provide hands-on support during implementation phases including move plans, go-live readiness, and stabilization support
  • Mentor and manage small project teams and collaborate with subject matter experts
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals,
    presentations, and client scoping conversations
  • Stay current on warehouse automation trends, WMS systems, and emerging technologies

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related
    field of study
  • 5 years of relevant supply chain and warehouse consulting experience, with at
    least 3 years in a project leadership role.
  • The position also requires:
    • Strong expertise in facility design/layout, slotting optimization, process
      engineering, and/or distribution center operations

    • Experience with warehouse automation and warehouse management

    • systems (WMS) and material handling equipment (MHE) planning

    • Exceptional analytical, presentation and client communication skills

    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects
      simultaneously

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

    • Ability to travel 30% – 50% of time to North American client sites as needed, predominantly within the U.S.

Salary:

$127,088/year
